The side-trail we take does not appear in our trail book and we rarely see anyone else taking it. It might be Bonita Peak, elevation over 13,000 feet. It goes thru some pretty steep scree areas, but the view at the top is awesome.

The old Frisco Mill is supposed to be being restored. ?? There was ONE new beam inside. Much of it has collapsed since last year & some of the artifacts have been removed. The mill was completed in 1912 with pre-cut wood. It connects to the Bagley Tunnel, 7500 feet long into solid rock. The mill was shut down in the 1920s. below Hurricane Pass:
Somebody didn't make it home. I am guessing due to the condition of this vehicle, that it was carried down by snow slides over the winter. It was pretty rusty and we have never seen it here before.
