Sat, Aug 24th Car Show

Thursday was a trip to Durango for Rx and groceries.  Friday was a lazy day.  I did make  another drive out to Gladstone in search of the mama Moose - STILL no sighting. 

Today there was an old vehicle show in town.  We didn't get there in time for the parade, but most of the vehicles were lined up on Blair Street.  Forgot the camera, so here are just a few pictures from my cell phone:

Today is the anniversary of the "Cowardly Slaying of Town Marshal Ogsbury," which occurred in 1881.  Here's a link to the article ( only one page long).  I am going to attempt to find the grave marker.  I wonder if the Marshal is also buried in the Silverton cemetery.
